Hi Nasu. Sorry to put you right but Tampere is definitely NOT considered as a Swedish speaking town.
The Swedish speaking areas are mainly by the coast line ... some in Loviisa neighbourhood, Porvoo, Helsinki... going west to Karjaa, Parainen, Tammisaari, Parainen, Pietarsaari, Vaasa, Kokkola. Maarianhamina in Åland is a matter of its own!!! You won't get any service there if you don't speak Swedish. To my mind those islands could be floated to Sweden any day!
As to easiness of languages. There you are right. The Swedish, the Norwegian and The Danish have so easy to understand each other whereas us Finns are like outsiders cause our language has very little in common with the other Scandinavian languages. I myself am lucky to master quite a few so I don't have any issues about that. But all I can say - languages can be difficult to learn but once you've done it, it's really worth all the time and maybe even struggle
