One of the main attractions in Helsinki is Helsinki Cathedral and was build between 1830-1852 and was originally designed by Carl Ludvig Engel. Every year the church gets around 350.000 visitors. The church replaced a church which has been build previousle at the same spot. Its' name was Church of Ulrika Eleonora.

Ylläs is the highest fell in Finland with an height of 718 metres. In the Ylläs area there are: 330 kilometres (210 mi) cross-country skiing tracks, 38 kilometres (24 mi) of which are lit 61 ski slopes 29 ski lifts The nearest railway station is at Kolari and the nearest airport is at Kittilä airport. General Rovaniemi (translated from the Lappish roave which means hill) is a city in Finland as well as capital of the Province of Lapland close to the Arctic Circle and situated between Korkalovaara, Ounasvaara and the rivers of Kemijoki and Ounasjoki. The city has 60.000 inhabitants and is one of the largest cities in the world if it is compared by the area. Tourism Tourism is a very important industry and there are plenty of hotels and restaurants located in the town. Landmarks of Rovaniemi are the Jätkänkynttilä bridge, the Lappia House (theater), the Rovaniemi Town Hall, as well as the Artktikum House. The library, concert hall and congress centre are designed by the Finnish architect Alvar Aalto. Another highlight is the Santa Claus Village and Santapark which is located 8 km north of the centre. Further, it has the world's most norhern branch of McDonald's and the northernmost point of VR's electric Railway Station. It is the biggest snow castle in the world and is rebuild each winter with a different architecture. Local materials are used to decorate the SnowCastle. Link: SnowCastle
