Uspenski Cathedral Helsinki

Uspenski Cathedral is an Eastern Orthodox cathedral in Helsinki, Finland.

Designed by Alexey Gornostaev (1808-1862) and built after his death in 1862-1868.



About 500 000 tourists visited the church each year. Admission to the Cathedral is free of charge. In winter, the Cathedral is closed on Mondays.

    That's my home church. Beautiful place! Anyone visiting Helsinki should go and see it for themselves.
