Raseborg Castle is actually a ruin nowadays and was build around 1400 and was especially important in the 15th century and located 14km away from Ekenäs. The village where the castle is located is called Snappertuna.

At Gamla Stan (Old Town) of Ekenäs you can find wooden houses from the 18-19th centuries. The village itself was founded in 1546.
