As you may have noticed there are many Romanian Gypsies in Helsinki as well as in other cities since 2-3 years.

Most of them are earning money by begging or playing music (as far as I observed them in the cities).

I think most of them came here because they can make better money in Finland than at home. Some research has been done by Social Workers. Read more here
