I went to Tampere and Rovaniemi for a month, which was great and I also loved the language.

Near New York? hauska. I love NYC. What are you doing there? do you study? what's your deal? I'm in Calgary and was living in Vantaa. Vantaa is pretty much north Helsinki. No real division except for municipal responsibility. I think they're still doing a study to meld all 3 into Helsinki proper. Helsinki was a trip. I lived there for almost 2 years before coming back to Canada. I took Finnish language class and thought it's a proper place to learn how to hear instructions on how to clean apartment building lobbys. so i stopped going. i have all but forgotten all my Finnish. which is a shame. but i'll be back there Christmas. have you been? are you going?
