    indeed, you are very right. Last Christmas we have had a big Christmas pork,
    Lanttulaattiko, porkanalaattiko and rossolli.
    That means "Finnish Christmas" to me, without these things, it is not !!

    any body tried Mämmi? Its quite good.well the appearance is a bit tricky but its not that Bad.I also like Salmiaki chocolate.very special taste ))

    I don't like mämmi, but I love salmiakki. It took me a while to get used to it, but each visit to Makuuni helped.

    and sorry sigrid, I don't have a piparkakku recipe. Never made them. I do have a tikkerikakku recipe if you want that. It's very yummy.
