Where you said people are shocked at how well you speak finnish and that your not. My english mates are the same with me, with how i speak it lol. But english is also widely spoken over here

I was living in Helsinki, but I went to Tammisaari, Tampere, Lohja, Karjalohja, Mikkli, Kouvola, Savonlinna, Häämenlinna, Muonio, Enontekiö, Vantaa, Kittilä... and I think thats about it.

So you went round most of finland then.

Yeh i live in enontekio, also known as the arm of the lady lol.

Here in Ireland we have a huge emigrant population. 1 in 8 people is an emigrant. There arent any problems that I know of, but we all hear the stories about certain non-European emigrants screwing the system and claiming racism when they are not allowed to skip to the top of the queues in hospitals etc.

I was told by a friend in Hull England, that Asian minorities are removing english street names and replacing them with their own language. Whites are also not "allowed" into certain areas of Hull.

Absorbing emigrants is a problem being seen all over Europe now. What will happen in the future? But in fairness, the vast majority of emigrants embrace their new homeland, some faster than others. I can see a bigger problem though; foreigners buying holiday homes and leaving them vacant for most of the year.

And this is the problem here. Finns sell their lands "for easy money" to Russians who build cottages and take over the best lake side areas etc. Then there are already cases where these Russians have refused to pay the estate taxes, community taxes, pay road fees, pay for the water systems etc. and why? - they say that "we already bought the land and own it, it's not our duty to pay for anything else"! HELLO !!
If they come here and take over places and start owning property, land, houses or whatever, they must realise owning that something brings along obligations after that as well. If you own something, it means you are a part of the community and must do "as the Romans do". This is Finland, not Soviet Union or Russia.
