haha! I never died too :P
I just think it's sad that some people drink to forget problems or just to feel better, but finish by having no more money. :/
It's okay to have funs with friends but be responsible about it. I do drink, sometimes a lot, but I don't drink 24/7, pass out and ruin myself over alcohol.

So I guess it's "a little" problem here. Just last year one 16 years old guy from our village climbed to his school's roof when being drunk, fell down 9 meters and died.
It is very sad that people cannot see that there is more to life than to get drunk!

We have the same issues, it seems to be a north European thing.

No I actually happen to know they drank them, but not all of them where 90 %, there where many different kinds of, but they also drank some ciders and "lonkero"s (don't know what to call it in English), so it doesn't matter how much there where alcohol in the bottles... they were anyways in a really bad shape, and I really hope they won't do it again, even thought I'm quite sure they will. Since their parents get the alcohols for them so it's really easy. And there's many of these kind of cases and so it's a serious problem in Finland, you don't have to do that many times to die.. and get some other innocent people with you...

hahaha anyway, I never said that I'd be dead, but Liverpool getting the treble now for me is.. uhmm.. impossible. Maybe the champions league, but the full treble.. no :P If I was playing for them, alongside Sami Hyypiä at the back, maybe :P

ahahaha and I don't want you chasing me with a frying pan... no way, it makes me feel.. afraid

Drinking, the nobel sport:

Ryyppääminen on suomalaisten kansallisurheilulaji, ja Suomen tärkein
vientituote. Ryyppäämisessä tarkoituksena on juoda mahdollisimman monta
pulloa olutta. Kuulostaako helpolta? No se ei ole. Ryypiskelyn vaikeus piileekin
siinä, että viidennen tai kuudennen pullon jälkeen juotujen pullojen laskeminen
käy hankalaksi, ja voittajan selvittämisessä täytyy turvautua lihasvoimaan.

Monet ammattilaiset aloittavatkin tämän jalon lajin harrastamisen jo nuoressa

Suomen virallinen kisakalja on Karjala. Kovimmat kusip... ryyppääjät
tunnistaakin Karjala-lippiksistä. Tunnetuin MM-kisaryyppääjä on varmastikin
ylivertaisesta ryyppäämisestään tunnetuksi tullut Matti Nykänen.

Drinking is a Finnish national sport, and Finland's most important export product. The meaning of drinking is to drink as many bottles of beer as you can. Sounds easy? Well it isn't. You see the difficulty of drinking is that after the fifth or sixth bottle, the counting of the bottles starts to get harsh, and in order to solve the winner you usually must resort to the muscle force.

Actually many professionals starts to train this noble event
already in the young age. For want of a better place this sport is often
trained for example behind the corners, in the neighbour, outside toilet, forest, on the lake/in the lake etc.
For some weird reason Finland's Nazi-authoritys have banned drinking
at schools or at work, but in the end drinking secretly just makes it more exciting.

Finland's official contest-beer is Karjala. The hardest asshol... boozers
can be regocnized from the Karjala-caps. The best known world championship
-contest drinker is probably Matti Nykänen, who has came well known from his incomparable drinking habit.

xD

Hehee Kallio is the best place! there's one nice crazy hippie café with a crazy lady who gives buns for free and one shop where's cool clothes which I buy and then there's ofcourse Kallion lukio which is one of the nicest places in the world, my friend is studying there. That's the place where you would want to go for an exchange student. At the moment there's one Japanese exchange student I know, hehe, she went totally crazy when she saw snow the first time. And she also got her first nice experience about Finnish drinking culture when she came to Finland, since that day was the day when there was "Taiteiden yö" in Helsinki. That means that there was the hole central Helsinki full of drunken teenagers... Sober person was really a rarity at that night. xD
...East-Helsinki is definitely one of the most dangerous places in Finland, thought also I've heard that Töölöö for example is also quite bad place... there you can hear sometimes gun shots at the night...
