When you use Google, do you use Google in Finnish (google.fi) or Google in English (e.g. google.com) since the results are different?

Not very often. Just when I'm trying to find a lot of info about Finland.
If I need to find things in Danish I have to use something else than .fi otherwise I only get Swedish results
Are you sure that it gives different results? I believe that Google looks at the standard language of your computer instead of which domain you use. The algorithm behind the search engine is the same for each domain they have. If you want I can explain it to you in a short way.
How about different domains e.g. if I have a .fi Domain will it has priority in the search results compared to e.g. .uk Domain?
Yes, I'm sure. Problem is that if I use .fi or .com and google knows I am in Finland, it thinks that my dinish word is a swedish ord just misspelled because the too languages are similery - I suppose the same would happen for Finns in Estonia etc.
Here in Croatia,Serbia and Bosnia we have same problem cos we have same and similar words then we show up in each other results.
Following things would help you with this problem.
its punting between <head></head>Code:<meta http-equiv="content-language" content="fi , da">>
also adding meta keywords would help too.
Code:<meta name="description" content="site description." /> <meta name="keywords" content="words and whole phrases for what you want that google index your page." /> />
If you are going to use .com and want to target it for an country that you can do using google webmaster tools and add website there and do what it requires and set that Geographic target Denmarkexample
maybe you know all this things maybe not but I'm just trying to help![]()
