Hi there, I was reading these kinda questions on some blogs and forums and it came in my mind to ask it here, just for information. I read finnish marriage law too and according to finnish marriage law, cousins cannot marry (in exceptional cases, permission is required) . So does step cousins also fall in this area?

I read it that infact step cousins are no cousins, mean there is no blood relation between them and they dont share ancestors, hence, Step Cousin is only used as a term to describe them. Infact they are not cousins.

It will be appreciated if someone answer on the base of law, mean real answer, otherthan your view on it.
