Moonsorrow are completely badass! Impaled Nazerene also. I liked Ensiferum more when Jari Mäenpää was in them, but now we have WINTERSUN
And Wintersun are just awesome.
Eppu Normaali are really cool, Yö as well, but the prize for the best group ever goes to Tea... NOT. And none of those aforementioned groups are metal anyways. That Tea song was an abomination and deserves to rot in Tuonela for eternity. And no-one will come looking for it.
Of course Children of Bodom are great, but Amorphis - Now THERE is a band. But bands which sing in Finnish like Stam1na or Mokoma can't be forgotten either because they're awesome. All Finnish music is good music. Except Tea.
You're damn right on Mokoma - I'll never forget their show after the release of Kurimus (what an album.!!). Great music and interesting lyrics too! (not always true in metal-orientated bands sadly).

Well, they are differents to Children of Bodom it's more melodic, they are catalogued as "progressive metal".....
The firsts album is Death metal!

Yes that was in the beginning, after that they incorporated new sounds, taking a new musical "style" perhaps but they sound good if you like to explore other tendencies besides hardcore metal...
