    Default Christmas Shopping Ideas?

    Hello all,

I'm sure most of us here celebrate christmas and are at the point where were like umm oh yeah need to buy some presents

well I'm at that point too hehe and I just thought we could all discuss some ideas of what were getting for people and were we can buy things from because I'm still not too sure of the best places to shop in Helsinki or Espoo

I think it would be nice to get my family some nice stuff that you can only get from Finland you know something special

    So any ideas?

Aha, an excellent reason to stay the night in a hotel after the meet-up!

The partner and I were contemplating whether it'd be worth our while spending the weekend in Helsinki, since we'll be travelling down from Akaa, and this has swayed our vote. Had best get booking!

You should go to the souvenir shop in Kamppi commercial center. I at least really like the stuff there and it's also tax-free. Unfortunately I don't remember the shop's name, but it's located in the corridor after chocolate shop at the first floor. You can regocnize it from the Finland's flags at the shop window.^^ There's also cute animal T-shirts at the window.

Tax free? Do you mean tax free for everyone? if not then us EU citizens must pay the same as a Finn anyway

Cute animal Tshirts, you mean the ones with Lordi on them?
