Darn, do I have to explain IT to you here?
Except my real reason I won't tell you forever, there're many motivations prompts me to do it once a week here. First of all, don't read and respond my thread if you don't like it. I'm kind of irritating people here already and I don't want to start too many embarrassing threads in this little community. Secondly, I'm looking for some guys willing to talk about their TRUE opinions of life in Finland. I already find some in other forums but not a single one here. Daily lives are hypocritical enough, and from certain aspect, other Finland-related forums are not as superficial as this forum so far, and... they're so thriving! Do you consider it's thriving soon enough here??? What are essential factors to build a success forum? Providing job opportunities? Providing a comfortable atmosphere to make new friends? Providing traveling information about Finland? There are many other websites doing so and so already. Thirdly, alcohol reduces certain constrain material in humans' brains, once people drink, the rule of people's behaviors change. Sometimes people like certain Finns, or people like me, people who press themselves from Monday to Friday, just need it to carry on conversation or to become REAL open-minded.
Is the title of this thread so necessary to be relative? To me, and many other places(BTW, did you visit those places I recommended for you???), it's not a definitely variable to contribute one's good opinion. If you don't want to keep the alcohol topic, just start an interesting new thread another place. If you feel so COLD in other threads, I'm welcome here to talk any topic with you in my annoying thread.

    Default gossip

    Will,
I am a member of those other forums too...
But why this FINNS thing, are they the only ones that DRINK???. go to any other european forum or what ever you want ,but stop beating the Finns they will never tell you any way, or have you not noticed that most of these poeple are not from Finland , like YOU?????
You want to be honest...be honest about your origin. Stop hideing, maybe people would like to know where you come from???

But with these remaks you keep making has nothing what so ever to do with this Forum." Your Finland Travel Community"
If you want information on drunks, mail the AA.
There you will get your answers.
First of all I dont think that these people are waiting to disscuss their PRIVATE lives on a forum.

Will ,get a life.... Stop with these outbursts.

    Shanaya,

It's understandable and respectable why you don't consider the drinking thing positively in the beginning. I don't insist on talking about it here. Please just say what you're interested. But what else on earth are you interested to talk? I can't respond you well if I don't know. I tried the Sauna topic wrapped up with global warming today, but I didn't see your response.

You love travel? Try to talk about it more deeply and go on and on! There are so many people here love traveling. What do people really get from it? What do you really get from it?

Just FYI, Finns from different backgrounds are different! There are Finns talk about drinking with me very positively. There are Finns willing to talk about other negative topics. Just not that many guys as you said, but people are different!!! And that's exactly a hope in any god forsaken place on earth. It's not beating or batting at all. Finally, as stated previously, I don't need Addicts Anonymous so far, just trying to talk about it.

And I gotta go by now, see you later.

I never went in Finland, but I can tell you that when you come from a northern country, living with the cold weather is something you get used to!
some Finnish friends of mine told me that the coldness of the winter isn't that bad, it's more the fact that it gets dark really early that is depressing.

As for tricks to face the cold winter, just dress like an onion :P with a lot of different clothes to keep you warm! jean and cotton isn't the greatest thing to wear.
I also already experienced the -40°C weather in Canada. it is cold, but you must not focus on that. just think that you are actually enjoying the day and live with it!
people often says that if you try to enjoy the winter, then the coldness won't bother you anymore. go snowboarding/skiing, go play ice hockey, go ice skating, play in the snow with children. you won't mind the cold weather anymore!

    hope that can help!

I really like winter, even though I'm a bit tired of the snow at the moment.. we got over 4 meters since the beginning of winter..
