In fact Iran signed up to the Nuclear non-Proliferation pact, the US did not. The Irish soccer team played in Tehran a few years ago and all the fans came with with good stories about how friendly the people were. People in every country are the same when you think about it. We want to improve our lives and help our neighbours. Think of the soldiers who dies in the trenches of WW2, they were all factory workers and farm labourers on both sides. They didnt realise this until they played a game of football in no mans land, it was close to mutiny! They call Iran/Iraq the cradle of civilisation! |

Re: Hi :D
Insenlee:
yeahh we had some matches with south korea ; ) well I cant say iranian people look like indian people with lighter skin because iran is a multi-race country with different cultures = )since I'm used to see iranian people & when I see an indian I can find the differences very well but if i see a korean & a japanese I can never even guess which one is from where :S! you can find a very blonde person, you can find an indian looking person : Dbe proud of being korean, girl!(not like me...my proudness is more likely being racist!!!) Myrica: yeahh its right : ( & again its right but as I said before,we have blondes & indian looking also! & in turkey everyone thought I'm turk & they just told me dont lie that u r not turk!!! I have a classmate whose father works in sweden & she was born there & she goes to sweden every summer & she has dark blonde hair & she has the same story : D Drummerac: yes its right, but u know nuclear program is all about the government which we cant do anything (the election & everything is just a big lie believe me) we cant change the government, its not about iran's presedent(u dont know him!!! he went to UAE & stood nearby (someone who I dont remember but he was in UAE's government) & in the picture there was a big writing "Arabian Gulf" (instead of our verry verry holy Persian Gulf) so see thats what our government wants it just took 30 years for them to ruin the whole iran & this time with nuclear program!!!yes i can face the ww2 & it was stopped in iran ... think about the iranians who died with chemical bombs when iraq attacked about 20 years ago,its not just this,in kurd side of iran there are still childs that born without hands, feet,& they born blind & worst of all:47 chromosomed people... my father was there in one of the islands that they used chemical bombs named "Jazireye Majnoon" he was there as a doctor & helped the injured , if they didnt exited for just one hour from that island,he would die... in that war there was no religion-minority,no race-minority,so they made iran & got it back from the enemy bu this government never even tell them thank u to save iran....

Re: Hi :D
Well, kind of... that's not entirely accurate.
In the academic world, in the business environment and between relatively young people (under 35 years old) I believe every european person learnt English, at least at school, and therefore almost everybody can speak English, or at least, engage in some simple conversations. Older people, at least in countries like Portugal and Spain, do not speak English, some understand a couple words, others do not speak the language at all. In these countries, only when they joined the European Union back in the 80s, people did realize the importance of the English as a second language and started to pay more attention to it, before that people did not think it was that important and only the highly educated ones were able to speak it. Recently a british television car show named Fifth Gear tested a car in Spain, and at some point they started to ask the locals in English what did they think about the car and nobody understood what the presenter was talking about. Of course they only asked people in their fifties or even older ones... Last edited by Catacang; 3 Days Ago at 06:36 PM. |

Re: Hi :D
there's my relife really..
![]() ** Catacang I understand waht you want to say, my country have as well paid lots of attention at Englsih Education but.. if you were in Korea.. it would be really hard to get some help with only englsih just like elder europeans even entire ages in Korea. And I don't think there is different between Japan and China either (actually Chinese..could be better than the others though) I just can NOT understand why We(Korean) can not speak Englsih just like a european, Because We have to learn Englsih for 6~8years during compulsory education... ![]() |
