    Default Hei.

Hei! Nimeni on Agata Mä olen Puolasta, mutta mä rakastan Suomea. Mä oon kahdeksantoista vuotta vanha ja mä asun Elblągissa, kaupunki Pohjois-Puolassa. Mä rakastan Metalmusikki!

...and unfortunately that's the moment where my Finnish ends.

In English - my name is Agata. I'm from Poland, but I love Finland. I'm 18 years old and I'm living in Elbląg, city in northern Poland. I love metal music!

What else can I add... I fell in love with Finland when I was 15 years old, totally unaware of it. I've heard song with lyrics in South Saami language and it was one of the most beautiful languages I've ever heard. After I heard some Finnish bands, and of course Finnish language - and I totally fell in love. Started to have more interest in Finland, looking at pics, reading about it etc. I also started to learn Finnish, you can see effect above. As I know myself, it's full of mistakes but nvm. I'm learning only with using internet sites, so don't expect perfect Finnish from me... Finnish books are really impossible to get in Poland.

I plan to move to Finland in near future, propably to Tampere, but I still don't know. I'll come to study.

So, I hope I'll spend some nice time here, and maybe meet someone new.

In fact I have some time to think about it, I'll have to stay in my country for at least 3 years, I have to pass maturity exam but I thought about something related to music, for example ethnomusicology or general ethnology, but in fact I dunno. Maybe I'll choose something else, but first I have to learn enough Finnish. For now I chose Tampere as my propably new home, so I'll propably go to Tampereen yliopisto... but as I said - I still have 3 years for thinking :/ If I only could go there without waiting... eh.

I just looked at Sibelius Academy site, and...wow! Seems I'm decided! It will change my plans a bit, I'll have to move to Helsinki instead of Tampere, but I think it's worth. I'm only a bit afraid of money I'll have to pay, it has to be expensive :/

http://www.paiz.gov.pl/_img/_pictures/7529.png this link can be useful now...
Yeah, they do maturity exam after highschool. I'm 18, if I'd go to general secondary school (which lasts 3 years), I'd write it next year, but I went to technical secondary school at first (which lasts 4 years). I didn't manage, I had to repeat a year, I changed school to general secondary school, cause I didn't want to learn 5 years. But it was even worse than in technical one... so I have to start everything from the beginning. This time I'll go to school for adults.

Hei, Gammer! I'm happy to be here, I've found link on hi5. Such site is really good thing, I'd love to learn about foreign country which will become my home in future (of course if Finnish people won't tell me to go away)
Thanks a lot for that site it will be very useful for me.

    Myrica - guess what I'll answer http://blog.pharmalive.com/wp-conten...8/06/o_rly.jpg

Well, yeah, maybe they won't need maturity exam, but that means that I have to stay few years more anyway. But this also has it's advantages - I have some time to meet people there, to learn language, to learn about culture, thanks to that I won't be so shocked when I'll move there.

In fact I could move even in September (I found online teaching school) but I don't think I'll find job without high school exam. And I don't think I'd like spending nights on the streets. xD
