I checked from Ilmatieteen laitos and the sun sets at exactly 18.13 in Helsinki Yup, it's funny how much there is same in both languages but still they are so different. Even though it's kinda easy for Finnish speaker to figure out what some Estonian words mean, but for example me, I still cant read whole sentences. But i have never been good at languages ;D

haha yeah, I have heard that! I have been to Estonia, well only for couple of hours. I really prefered Finland though. but the old part of Tallinn was quite nice to visit.
The other day, when I was speaking with one of my friend from finland on the phone, we just laughed about how estonian and finnish were similiar languages. "kakka" in estonian is "cake" buuuut in finnish it doesn't exactly mean the same thing :P

at what time is the sun setting now in Finland? here it sets around 18.15...

haha :P yeah well I guess it is funny after all. I thought we would have been more "majava", "kuikka" or "hirvi" XD
I think its funny that people nickname us kanukki, because we have this brand of wintercoat named "kanuk" (somekind of inuit word) (it's probably the quebecer equivalent of the finnish brand "luhta").

Well, you know... Canadian is kanukki and citizen of US is jenkki etc. It doesnt have any kind of negative meaning in Finland, though it's sounds a bit funny/silly to my ear. Hah
