Re: Traditional fish and chips Helsinkihello all, after a long hard battle, i eventually got permission to sell fish and chips in kammpi near or outside the aussie bar, i start on 22nd of january, at 22.00 until 04.00, for 5 months on friday and saturday nights only, this is only permission they would give me to start, after a very hard battle.

Helsinki needs a decent chipper, battered herring and chips might be a hit. A one & one!
I just hope you use fresh potatoes for the chips, soak them in water for an hour or 2 first to remove the starch
I'll try it out the next time I visit
