Thanks Mr. Right. Need to know it for a friend of mine. 15 days...that's quite good. I hope it does not depend on the size of the city![]()
Yeah, it should be within 1 month.. It's pretty easy to get an RP in Finland, but there have been some people who failed the interview.. I wonder if I should start booking flight ticket and make a deposit for an accommodation before getting the RP or after that. I've heard that there are a lot of people applying for student house in Fall, it'd be hard to get a cheap room/apartment if I apply late(the RP should be available for me in July)
Don't count on it, I've been waiting 19 months so far & I still don't have it! You are also not allowed to work & study if you are in Finland while you are waiting, so make sure you have a survival back up plan if you don't get it in a month!
Always depends of the case. The reason why you're applying and if you have all the papers. If this is the first time or if renewal...
It certain-ally depends on case to case. cases that are easy, not complicated and all the information is correct in the forms and easy verification for authorities, processed very quickly.
I got my permit within one month as per my circumstances.
It is very difficult to get a student flat in the Autumn, so I would advise you to do it in good time.
If you have been accepted to a school and otherwise have your papers in order, your should have no trouble getting the RP/ study visa compared to other countries - at least that is what I have heard.
Has been discussed before. In Migri average time is 8+ months.
