can somebody tell me how much a student doing his internship in a company like wartsila or any other companies can get per month?

Normally, you don't get paid!! The company is actually helping you by offering training/guidance for free and other non-financial benefits..

However, some companies can afford to offer a certain allowance to students, and it's roughly around EUR 500..

Why would anyone pay you? You don't get anything.

they are suposed to pay something since i am working for them, or you want me to work for free?

Like the guy said. You are getting work training and if anything YOU should be paying them.. I don't understand how you cant see that.

On top of that you get the right to stay here legally longer than normal. So consider yourself lucky.. I know at least 2 people who aren't being paid... and it's a prerequisite that they do this for a few months until the government pays them anything.

That's true! In fact, one needs to avoid that attitude of expecting money from the company you are using for internship. Instead, use it as an opportunity to impress the employer with your academic skills and interest. Eventually, or in most cases students end up receiving an offer for permanent job from the company. At that point, you can NOW negotiate for salary etc...

When I came to Finland i did this three months training near Raahe City. They paid me 1300 euros/month. In Nokia a friend did training, his first month was free, and then the next two months he got 1200 euro/month. I know trainees who didnt get paid but became permanent employees later on.
