Well they aren't my favorite either, I like more about their attitude than the music, though I don't like the others much more...or well maybe I'd be happy if Turkey's "Mor ve ötesi, Deli" would win...Thought I don't think they've much chances
![]() Hehe, it's nice that we Finns can now do our favorite hobby again: complain and laugh how bad our competitor is.^^ I remember the time befoe Lordi, when we used to guess how close at the worst ones Finland would be or could it be even the worst. Though here, atleast from the young people, hardly anybody watches Eurovision, I mean, when the Lordi won, nobody from our class, except me, watched the contest and next day my English teacher complained half an hour how tired she was when her stupid husband had woke her up in the middle of the night for some stupid Eurovision. XD But okay, Teräsbetoni is atleast better than some other competitors which have been representing Finland... |

In Germany we always look forward to the ESC. My (teenage) daughters love it as well. It's a big event for many people here.
Although Germany has not to fear to reach the final, it is rather disappointing where the German artists stand at the end of the voting. The past has shown that the more crazy you look and the more stupid the lyrics are, the better is the chance to reach a better ranking. It is also annoying that neighbouring countries give highest points to each other, best example Cyprus/Greece. The last winner from Serbia was one of my favourites as she did NOT look crazy neither seductive and had wonderful lyrics, too. I still hope that the voting audience will appreciate rather good music than funny costumes. So good luck to your countries next Saturday ![]() Astrid |

)It's a song contest so when a country wins,it doesn't make 'the country' best,it makes 'the song&the performance' best.so i hope the best 'song' will win this year

I like Teräsbetoni but I don't think the song was a good choice. Orjatar would have been a better choice. Or Vaadimme Metallia.
Lovex are good too, but the best choice for Finland as an entrant would have been Brother Firetribe. Their music is so eurovision! |

Unfortunately yea... I hate it when the Russians living here always votes their nation and so Finland always gives so good points to Russia even if there would be much more better songs...
I wonder why Sweden got so bad points... Now they'll probably blame Finland and Norway from that, because we gave them so bad points... But I think that Norway's song was better than Sweden's song.

I think Finland are overdoing it a bit with the endless metal artists every year. Be nice to hear some young soloist Finnish talent for a change. Besides it is a SONG contest not a costume and show contest.
edit: oops the eurovision's been and gone :P |
