Poets Of The Fall =)
I thought POTF deserve their own topic, so here it is ...
In my opinion they are THE BEST ROCK BAND in Finland! Not to mention Marko (the singer) is ... HOT with AMAZING voice  When I heard "Illusion & Dream" for the first time I couldn't believe the band was Finnish  They are very good live band - almost as good as Depeche Mode (DM is my longest "love affair" in the field of music)  I am going to let their music speak for them - Here are my fav songs at the moment ... I think it's pretty "funny" that in 2004 when POTF guys were sending their demos to Finnish record companies NOT EVEN ONE wanted to sign them for their lable. Since that POTF has been independent band without record company and now ... I am sure those companies which turned them down would kill to get them signed All the best for POETS - my Finnish number 1

Something about Poets' "down to Earth and respect to their fans" attitude tells the fact that they created a guest list for their US fans!
A possibility to see them live at Musexpo'08 in Los Angeles. The event is for music industry professionals only, but now some TRUE fans can go and see their fav band live and FOR FREE!At Poets website's forum a member got in the guest list & then spent $700 to get a flight to Los Angeles & see Poets! Now that's TRULY WOW! Good going Poets ... They are not acting like divas ... P.S. I am soooooooooooooo looking forward to the Tavastia gig!!! Woohoo! It's great pre birthday present for me Maybe I'll be stroking Marko's ... hair ( ) at Tavastia LMAO like some lucky fans did in the "Passion Colors Everything" video I posted in my previous message Last edited by Marjo; 27th-April-2008 at 10:33 AM. |

A good idea to start a new thread dedicated to PotF. I think their fancommunity is growing all over the world. I'm sure they will make their way and instead of being the supporting band of any other band (they were last year Sunrise Avenue's supporting band in Germany!!- unbelievable-) they will need such ones themselves. Diamonds for Tears single out May 21st
Diamonds for Tears is the second single from Poets of the Fall's third album Revolution Roulette. It will be in shops on May 21st, and you can also get it from iTunes worldwide. The single will contain two edits of the title track, plus a wonderful live version of Carnival of Rust from last year's tour. And that's not all: you'll also get the rocking music video for The Ultimate Fling shot and directed by POTF fans! Stay tuned...
