Anywhere in Canada is pretty cas...good for her im glad she enjoyed her time here. Yes im trying to brush it off as i think i will end up there before i know it and need to speak the language before i can work. I called some Finns living around here but i may have scared them off with my brash upfront personality. Gosh i hope not. Im hoping to join a Language group here.

You need to practise your Finnish. Don't let all that time be wasted!!!!! Yes, the sauna off the bathroom is a wonderful thing isn't it My husband, Kaitsu, is studying mainly History. He does some European studies as well but only because they wont let him do all History. My job here, believe it or not, is making Swedish Chocolate balls. I make them and sell them at the Fremantle markets which are a real tourist spot here in Perth. All the Scandinavian tourists come and check us out. It's a great job If you're on Facebook, do a search for Swedish Chocolate Balls and you'll find us. We have like 20,000 Swedish fans, lol. What are you doing while you're in Calgary? One of my daughters spent last Christmas in Canada and loved it. She was up somewhere near Quebec, not sure where.

My time there was spent in Finnish classes. I took quite an intensive finnish course but managed to wipe it all away with about a 1/2 hour of American television once i got back. It was a good experience and I'm better prepared now for what to expect. I lived first in Vantaa and then in Helsinki. If i go back which im pretty sure is a go...I hope to find another cool apartment as I've grown accustom to the sauna off the bathroom. What are you doing down in Oz? What's your hubby studying? Be swell!

Hei Hei. That's probably a good idea as Finland seems to be struggling to dig themselves out of their recession. I'm in Calgary Canada now but am looking to header back to Finland. I lived there for a couple years and miss it. Keep in touch for when & if you guys do move back. It's good to establish a solid network as soon as possible when moving to that particular country. Heippa!
