Some two months ago I praised my Sony DSC-W90 here and didn't plan on upgrading it. I still think it's a great camera and I still have it.

Now I just happened to pass a shop at the airport and couldn't refuse the special price they had for Sony DSC-W170. I took a few minutes to read the specs and just had to buy it. It has this "new" feature which automatically captures smiles ie. when you use that mode, all you need to do is hold the camera, keep it pointed at people and as soon as someone smiles, the camera takes the pictures automatically! No more keeping people waiting and trying to keep smiling while you point and shoot.

This is a bit like a candid camera - it captures the most natural smiles and all you need to do is hold the thing. Yes, we had lots of fun afterwards when I showed the pics and the others realised what I had been doing... or what the camera did without anybody noticing it

i have a camera that came with a powerbar i bought in Canada. its a beastly little thing but pinches shut when i want it to. where are all the rowdies? i thought you guys were all "grrr metal" and fisticuffs. dont make me take the ferry to St. Petersburg. (im totally going anyway)

but I've my own hmm verrry old have it for something like 4-5 years...yeah really need to change it . named olympus c50 ,but is good enough for me!

I have a canon SD450..
but I have another one that I bought recently, a (reflex) Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XSi with a 15-55mm lens and a 70-300mm lens.
I love that camera, but I am not too sure I will bring it while traveling. well myabe Finland because it's not such a dangerous country.. but I might not ALWAYS carry it with me. :/ I don't want it to be stolen or broken or anything :/

yeah! that's true! ^^ it's just that right after you get it you don't necessairly (? I have no clue how to spell that word in english) want it to get stolen... :P but of course, next time I go to Finland, I will bring it with me!

haha! well last summer I got some really nice shot of Finland, when I was there, with a really old camera (a canon SD200 or something like that)
The next time I will go to Finland is in about 2 years... It is really depressing to think about it. it's been soon 3 months I came back from Finland and I already miss it so much.
