We want to build up our own "Interesting Places to visit in Finland" map.

If you want to participate send an email to contact@finlandlive.info so that we can give you access rights.

You will then be able to set markers on the map with your favourite locations as well as a description to it.

Those who are interested in working on the map needs to chose a city they want to focus on. Let's start with the biggest cities:

The job is actually quite easy. You go to the local tourist web site of the city and make a list with all sights, museums and attractions (the one which are worth to visit at least).

The list should look like this:

Name of the sight
Street (if available)
City
Web Link to the web site of the attraction (or search in wiki and use the wikilink if there is no official web site)
Latitude Longitude (Coordinates of the sight)

How to find out the coordinates (latitude/longitude) of a sight:
Converting Addresses to/from Latitude/Longitude in One Step (Geocoding)

If you use wiki, there are also coordinates displayed on the right top corner (don't use the same coordinates for every sight!)

You dont need to make the whole list at once. You can also submit e.g. every day a few sights. Send them via email to contact@finlandlive.info
