The IIHF world champs are starting soon again ...
I LOVE ICE HOCKEY!!!  I hope Finland will repeat the 1995 again  P.S. Dear admin - we don't have "sports" topic/thread here yet - so how about creating one?

and Admin yes thats a pity we dont have any thing about sports . and as I said before I love this game but I am still havnt made any kind of skiing or hocky , and I am so angry because of that cause I havnt got the chance for that . |

What happened in 1995?!?!?!
Well, Hell froze over ... OOPS ... Nawww - wrong year - that happened 2006 when Lordi won the Eurovision Song Contest In 1995 Finland won the ice hockey world champs ... First (and last, so far) time ever! It was such a sweet victory especially because we did beat the s**t out of Swedes (it's all in the YouTube link I posted in my 1st message). HYVÄ SUOMI!!!

WOOHOO
And yesterday we WON bronze medals AND ... no goals to Sweden AT ALL!!! It was pretty crazy in down town Helsinki when I was there looking for taxi after THE Poets Of The Fall gig - everyone seemed very happy and more or less ... "under influence" LMAO HYVÄ SUOMI!!! 4 - 0, zero, nothing, nada!!!

I was in Quebec city when team Finland won yesterday, *but i wasn't at the game, it was sold out..
 * anyway, here people are more into team Canada so I haven't seen people partying or stuff like that ! But I can say the city was full of hockey fans from every where; I've seen Russians and Lettonians! The main street was pretty cool! I'm really really happy and proud of team Suomi Next year the championship will be in Switzerland

Well what can I say
 . I must add bit of defence for the swedish team. They didnt have so much time time rest like the finnish team had. (Bad excuse I know)Congratulation Finland for the bronze medel. |
