I'm going to the Suomi-Azerbaijan match tomorrow. Hopefully a decent crowd and some goals. Goiong to see the legend that is Sami Hyppiä and (fingers crossed) Jari too! Two Liverpool greats!

Ohh mate!

ohhh Sami Sami!
Sami Sami Sami Sami Hyypiä!

You don't know how I'd like to see Sami playing hehe
And Jari.. even though he didn't play that much for Liverpool, in Ajax he was unstoppable!

The game was great last night. It was fantastic to see Sami play for 90 mins and I even got to see Jari come on. He's way past his best but still played some nice touches and could have set up a couple of goals if the finishing had been better. The crowd cheered every touch he had too, which was funny. 1-0 to Suomi with a very soft penalty, but who cares! They play really attacking football so the crowd were happy. It was strange to compare it later to the England game against Kazakstan where our fans were barely applauding the 5-1 victory. Maybe it's because the players don't look like they're trying too hard, but also I think that the fans expect England to play like Pele's Brazil teams - not realistic.

Or maybe because winning 5:1 to Kazakstan is something that might be expected

I felt the england game was pathetic, i gave up watching it after that goal we let in. Ashley Cole should get a slap across the face for that. So i went to have a chinesse, and we end up winning 5-1. Ahwell, had my food sooner though lol
