1.1 - Registration to Finlandlive.Info is free! We do insist that you abide by the rules and policies detailed below. If you agree to the terms and wish to join our community, please check the 'I agree' checkbox and press the 'Register' button on the Forum Summary Page. You are free to browse our forum without registration.

1.2 - Although the administrators and moderators of www.finlandlive.info will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of www.finlandlive.info, nor Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message.

1.3 - By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are offensive, derogatory, obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws. www.finlandlive.info is essentially a travel community and we request members post respectfully and responsibly.

Privacy Statement

2.1 - In order to gain membership to www.finlandlive.info, we require a valid email address. We record this email address to your member profile, along with your IP address at time of registration. We record your IP address each time you browse or post on our forum. For registered members, we offer the option of storing a "cookie" on your computer to remain logged in. All information is available to the Internet including your profile page. Password and email address used for registration are not available for the public. 2.2. Content posted on FinlandLive.Info is available to Searchengines and Directories. Members and Guests providing Content and Data to FinlandLive.Info give their permission to use their Content and Data by FinlandLive.

2.3. - Additional information may be volunteered, such as Biography, Location, Interests and Occupation, but this information is not required in order to become a member of our forum. All information is kept confidential, and measures are in place to prevent access to, misuse and dissemination of the information we hold about you by unauthorised personnel. Your information is kept confidential at all times and will only be surrendered to authorities or police pending any legal investigation.

2.4. Uploaded Avatars and Profile Pictures may be used in our Newsletter to introduce new members. Members are responsible and have the rights for the Image they have uploaded as a Profile or Avatar Picture.

Opting Out Of Communication

3.1 - You may opt out of receiving communications from us by selecting the appropriate option in Your Profile. Information may be removed from your member account and your member account may be disabled by request, but your member account will not be deleted for security reasons and future accountability should any complaint be raised against any information transmitted by you on our Forum.

Posting Links / Advertisements

5.1 - Please note that advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are inappropriate on www.finlandlive.info. Please also note that this message board is not an FFA Links Site. One-post-wonders wanting solely to advertise their web site or products will have their membership cancelled and their posts removed. Domain names will also be blocked for a minimum of three months.

5.2 - While we welcome the broadcasting of additional and relevant resources, we will not tolerate blatant web site advertising. Such posts we deem fall into this category will be removed and appropriate action taken.

Censoring

6.1 - Our software automatically censors explicit or offensive words. Please do not attempt to circumvent our censor. Some web site domains have been black-listed for violations of our Terms and Conditions. Please do not attempt to circumvent our censor should a domain name you have attempted to reference be removed or replaced by asterisks in your post. All inquiries may be directed to staff via our PM system.

Spam Policy

7.1 - www.finlandlive.info operates a strict no-spam policy. Members spamming our forum with frivolous and/or duplicate posts will have their posts removed and their membership revoked for a specified period of time. Persistent offenders will have their membership cancelled.

7.2 - This forum has features which enable members to both edit their own posts in order to add commentary, and to quote multiple posts in one reply. Failure to make use of these features by persistent double (or more) posting, that is, posting multiple times in a single thread without another member doing so in the meantime, may be deemed as spamming.

Copyright Policy

8.1 - Please do not post material you do not own without the permission of the author. By posting material on our forum, you are agreeing that you either own the item you are posting and/or have permission to post the item. Please do not post illegal material on our forum, or material which contravenes international piracy laws. Finlandlive.info can not make beeing responsible for content posted or uploaded by members who agreed to our Community Rules. If you think that somebody used material where you have the copyright, send an email to contact@finlandlive.info and we will review the case, remove the material or delete the appropriate account.

Free Media Policy

9.1 - Our free media policy applies to all forms of copyright-exempt digital media. Non-exclusive, copyright-exempt media doctored and posted and/or referenced on our Community for the purpose of web site promotion will be removed, and those responsible reprimanded. This does not apply to fan-created content.

Avatars

10.1 'Avatars' are small images that people use to identify or distinguish themselves from other forum members. Avatars appear under your Member Name on all posts made on our forum. To submit an avatar, please see this thread. You also agree to have the legal right on the picture you want to use as your Avatar or Profile Picture by uploading it.

11.1 - www.finlandlive.info, it's owners and/or operators take no responsibility for the content, links to or use of the content of the messages posted on this Forum, Video section, Stories or Albums, nor do we endorse the opinions of the authors. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless www.finlandlive.info and their agents with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s).

11.2 - We at www.finlandlive.info reserve the right to delete any message for any or no reason whatsoever. We also reserve the right to disable any member account for any or no reason whatsoever.

11.3- Message boards are a dynamic entity. www.finlandlive.info reserves the right to change or alter these rules at any time and an administrator’s word is final.
