Hi all,

I'd be travelling with my 4 year old son to India coming saturday and am flying Finair. Would reach Helsinki at 11 in the night and my connecting flight is at 2:15 next day afternoon. Am currently residing in Switzerland but holder of a Indian passport. On inquiry, finair officials denied issuing transit visa to person holding passport of Indian origin even if the transit time is longer than 7 hours.

Am in a fix as to what i'd do in the middle of the night with a kid at the airport. If at all I get a transit visa, could someone suggest a budget hotel to spend the night near the airport and also some sight seeing tips i could use to kill time in Helsinki and how to go about it.
